Cartridge Mechanical Seal Conversion of Southern Cross Vertical Pump

THIS SOUTHERN Cross Vertical Pump was recently converted from gland packing to a cartridge mechanical seal.

Our Engineering Department specially designed and manufactured a custom cartridge mechanical seal for this specific application.

The gland area had to be re-designed to accommodate this cartridge seal.

The green part is the modified gland.
